It’s my birthday today. Why thank-you, yes it’s been lovely. I just wanted to quickly share a couple of the gorgeous presents I got today. Not to show off, well, yes to show off, but not about me. However, my incredibe friend Claire deserves a hearty mention. She’s a talented lady and if you haven’t seen her handy work before, where have you been?
Claire is the owner of Beautiful Things and she is, quite simply, fabulous. The dresses below have been hand-made by Claire and both fit perfectly, even though both were sneaky surprises, so were made on measurements without fittings.
Before I scurry away for my dinner and possibly a cheeky glass of wine, I’d like to thank Claire for being a great friend and super seamstress and Mr Frog for being amazing enough to commission Claire to make my Alice dress and matching bag.
The froggy dress will be modelled by my good self tomorrow and I expect that the Alice dress may well feature when we’re back at King George’s Playing Fields on the 8th.
